The Steam Travelers Summer Picnic was intended to be just more than a good time in the Park. It was meant to be a means of Transferring one into a mindset by means of using Pasts Relics to convey the feeling of an alternate reality. This concept is undeniably what it means to be A Retronaut. This year in the wake of the World Steam Expo we continue to celebrate Steampunk & Retronautica by means of enjoying it in a gorgeous place.
ABOUT THE SITE:
The Governor Warner Museum is a Victorian Italianate structure
built in 1867 by P. D. Warner, the
Governor’s
father, and is furnished in late Victorian style. Sitting on almost
three acres, the house is surrounded by gardens lovingly tended by
the Museum Garden auxiliary.
